This family-owned spot keeps things focused on what matters: consistently great New York-style pizza, stuffed calzones, wings, hot subs, and burgers. While their traditional pies are excellent, the hidden gem on their gourmet menu is the Quarto Formaggio. Pomodoro Pizza has quietly become one of our team’s favorite local stops in the Brandon area. The menu is stacked with hearty homemade pastas, Sicilian square trays, calzones, and subs, but the hand-tossed pizza is the undeniable star of the show.
Our go-to order is the Margherita Pizza. It starts with Pomodoro’s vibrant tomato base, topped with fresh mozzarella and fresh basil, then finished with a drizzle of olive oil. We always add sausage. The contrast between the clean, bright basil, the fresh mozzarella, and the savory Italian sausage is exactly what a great Margherita should be. The crust is light with a fantastic texture from the first bite to the last.
